The Department of Library and Information Science at CSJMU Kanpur successfully conducted an industrial visit to IIM and RML National Law University Lucknow with the help and encouragement of our Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, sir. The visit aimed to provide practical knowledge and exposure to the students about the various aspects of library management and operations. Students interacted with the library teams of both libraries and gained exposure to various services and resources offered by these two leading libraries. We sincerely appreciate the extended support and cooperation provided to us during the tour by Dr. Maneesh Bajpai, Library Incharge at RMNLU, and M. K. Singh, Library Incharge at IIM Lucknow, as well as their entire teams. The industrial visit provided a platform for the students to gain practical insights into the various aspects of library management, including collection development, cataloguing, and preservation. We also thank our coordinator, Dr. Ashish Srivastava, for his constant guidance and encouragement to make this visit fruitful.
