Under the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, the School of Health Sciences, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur organized a Tuberculosis Active Case Finding (ACF) and Screening Camp for workers engaged at construction sites within the university campus.

छत्रपति शाहू जी महाराज विश्वविद्यालय के 41वें दीक्षांत समारोह के अवसर पर माननीय कुलाधिपति एवं राज्यपाल, उत्तर प्रदेश, श्रीमती आनंदीबेन पटेल जी की सत्प्रेरणा तथा कुलपति प्रो. विनय कुमार पाठक के प्रयासों से विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा जिला स्वास्थ्य समिति, कानपुर के सहयोग से सर्वाइकल कैंसर से बचाव हेतु 14 वर्ष आयु की बालिकाओं के लिए निःशुल्क HPV टीकाकरण अभियान आयोजित किया जा रहा है।
सर्वाइकल कैंसर महिलाओं में होने वाले सबसे सामान्य कैंसरों में से एक है, जिसका प्रमुख कारण HPV (ह्यूमन पैपिलोमा वायरस) संक्रमण है। विशेषज्ञों के अनुसार समय पर टीकाकरण इस गंभीर बीमारी से बचाव का सबसे प्रभावी माध्यम है।
टीकाकरण तिथि: 09 एवं 10 जुलाई 2026
स्थान: विश्वविद्यालय स्वास्थ्य केंद्र
