The Academics and Career Council is organising a three-day event, CAREER CONNECT, an annual flagship event on 10th-12th February 2023, for all undergraduate and postgraduate students. The primary intent behind this event is to encourage students to explore and equip them better to make informed and wise choices in their professional, social, and personal endeavours.
This event would consist of numerous sessions, hackathons, and workshops to encourage students to engage in various activities. We have one prominent session on "How to Improve Your Research Skills" by Prof. N. Sundararajan, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Carrying out good research involves developing multiple skills at the same time. One has to develop a deep thinking habit, and a questioning mind and also should develop lateral thinking. Also, a researcher should be fully aware of ethical practices in research before he starts on this journey. In these lectures, we will cover all these aspects and suggest ways in improving one’s research skills. These lectures will be highly interactive.
