*EVENTS*

Murugappa hall witnessed the Paper Presentation event after the guest lecture. Papers on varied topics were presented.

Many innovative projects were displayed as part of Project presentation in power electronics laboratory.

“Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.”
C-chef event was a test for the programming freaks and it was held in C and DS laboratory.

Science is a way of thinking much more than it is a body of knowledge. Brainstorming session was held in the Quiz event in Visual classroom.

The more complicated the circuits become the more brains are involved. This event was held in final year EEE classrooms.

The most awaited event of the day robosoccer went viral. Many students gathered around to witness the war between the robots.

More than 10 fun events were held in and around the murugappa hall. Every student were kept entertained with these events.

GUEST LECTURE
The guest of honour, our alumnus Er Venkatesh Narasimhan, Director of Kripya Engineering Pvt Ltd gave a very informative lecture on renewable energy systems and micro-converters. With great people, comes great wisdom and great wisdom come’s greater thoughts. He inspired everyone present in the gathering.

INAUGURAL
As scheduled the inauguration started on time and Professor Ramadoss sir welcomed the gathering. Presidential address given by the Principal Dr Elango was worth taking a note. Professor Madasamy felicitated the gathering and General Secretary of EEEA Pradeep.P gave an overview of ALCONESY 2k17.
