North Bengal Elite Pharmacy College (D.Pharm) proudly celebrated World Pharmacist Day 2026 on 25th September 2026 with great enthusiasm and participation.

The programme focused on the theme “Pharmacists: Meeting Global Health Needs Together” and highlighted the vital role of pharmacists in promoting safe and effective medicine use..

Through awareness activities, discussions and presentations, our students and faculty explored the responsibilities of pharmacists, including patient safety, rational use of medicines and combating Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR).

We sincerely thank our respected Principal, faculty members and enthusiastic students for making the programme successful and meaningful.

Successfully organised a programme on National Pharmacovigilance Week 2026 on 23rd September 2026.
The programme focused on “Promoting Rational Use of Medicines through Pharmacovigilance: A Step Towards Safer Healthcare.”

Students actively participated in poster presentations, awareness activities and discussions on the safe and rational use of medicines.

The programme successfully created awareness about Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs), responsible medicine use, patient safety and the importance of pharmacovigilance.
