🏭 Industrial Visit to BHEL, Tiruchirappalli 🏭

The II and III year students of ECE, EEE, and Mechanical Engineering departments of Chettinad College of Engineering and Technology visited Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Tiruchirappalli on 28th & 29th April 2026.

👨‍🎓 A total of 95 students along with 4 faculty members participated in the visit and gained valuable industrial exposure to large-scale manufacturing and production processes.

✨ Students explored various sections including fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, and quality testing units. The visit helped them understand real-time industrial applications, modern manufacturing practices, safety procedures, and workflow management in core engineering industries.

The industrial visit served as a great learning experience by bridging classroom concepts with practical industry knowledge.
