The photo was taken sometime in the last months of 1975 in the then Principal’s room on the first floor’s southwestern portion of the present Tikkavarapu Rami Reddy bloc, now housing Chemistry and Botany Departments of Jawaharlal Bharati College, Nellore district of combined Andhra Pradesh. In the middle of the photo is the most popular, extraordinarily efficient and scholarly Principal of JB College Dr. Mallireddy Pattabhi Rama Reddy, and the founder of Andhra Pradesh History Congress of united AP on1st & 2 nd of May 1976 and also one who has introduced Andhra History as a subject, first, at the undergraduate level in all the Degree Colleges, indirectly forcing the Universities also to introduce it at PG level and which, in fact, became a compulsory paper in APPSC Examinations. He is popularly known as MPR. On the extreme left side of MPR, in the photo, is his junior colleague Dr. Devireddy Subramanyam Reddy who served JB for fifteen years as Junior Lecturer, Lecturer and Reader ( Associate Professor) and then joined the Department of History, SV University, Tirupati and served as Professor, Head, Chairman BOS and also Senate Member of SVU, apart from contributing 160 writings, including 25 books to historical knowledge. On the immediate left side of MPR, in the photo, is Mr. Raghavulu who later served in Indian Bank. On the right side of MPR, in the photo, is Sri. Oruganti Lakshmi Narayana, generally called OLN. He was the Head of the Department of History of JB College till his retirement in JB. The photo shows Dr. MPR with his Department colleagues, the other colleague is missing in the photo because of his stay in Delhi on Study Leave at that time.

What can a family do during Covid 19 shutdown? Let's share some ideas:
Spend time together as a family - Switch of WiFi
Teach children house hold chores - Cleaning, dusting, house keeping etc
Try out new dishes - cook at home rather than order from a eatery
Talk to the extended family members over the phone, check out what they are up to
Take out the unused and expired stuff and dispose them responsibly - Will help children children understand responsibility
Play board games or draw them on the floor and as a family have fun

these are few random thoughts, keep adding.....
