On 9th October, 2023 (Monday), a session pertaining to Special Talk by Shri Avinash Rai Khanna Ji (Ex Member of Parliament) was organised in the University Auditorium. The session was conducted for the students and faculty members of University School of Law. In this brainstorming session, emphasis was laid on the dynamic nature of law and the changing legal aspects.
A crucial point discussed was about the adverse impacts of witnesses turning hostile, thereby, leading to the creation of a social stigma towards the concerned party. Also, it was mentioned that the common masses are usually harassed by the law enforcement authorities in case of reporting about any incident. Another bone of contention was about the prominent deviation of law towards women.
At the end of the session, suggestions were welcomed from the students and the faculty members to fill the loopholes left in our legal system. A Google Form was also provided by the Department in order to procure the feedback and suggestions of the students. Thus, it can be rightly concluded that, "JUSTICE DELAYED IS JUSTICE DENIED AND JUSTICE HURRIED IS JUSTICE BURIED. "
