To meet the ever-increasing demand for competent technocrats by the industrial sector at the global level, the Govt. Polytechnic College, Khunimajra (Mohali) was established by the Punjab Govt in the year 1996 as a co-educational institute. Initially, two diploma courses were started during the same year in the two important streams of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering with an inta

ke of 40 students in each trade. Later on, not only were two new courses of Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Engineering started in the college from July 2004, but the intake of the students was also enhanced from forty to sixty in each course. A new course, namely Medical Lab Technology has been proposed to be started from the session 2010. The college, with its campus spread over an area of 17 acres approximately, is located at a distance of about 2kms from Kharar bus stand on the Kharar-Banur road. Located in the vicinity of Mohali, the college has come to be recognized as a premier co-educational institution imparting technical education. Besides catering to the requirements of the tri-city of Mohali-Chandigarh-Panchkula, students from all over Punjab and neighbouring states strive to seek admission in this college. The college aims at providing quality and practical-based technical education to the students so as to enable them to face the rigorous challenges with grit and determination thrown up by globalized competition. In addition, it is also our constant endeavour to imbibe all the qualities of head and heart in our budding scholars. Stress is laid not only on the development of soft skills and other managerial skills to help them move up fast on the ladder of success in the corporate world, but emphasis is also laid on inculcating moral and social values so as to make them useful members of the society.

· Online Test (Aptitude, Reasoning, Computer Theory(C and SQL fundamentals)

· Group Discussion for shortlisted students.

Online Test & GD are common for both, Synergy and Bitwise.

*23rd January 2015 (Friday): *
· Technical & HR Interviews of shortlisted students from GD for Synergy
Technologies Services.
· *Issue of LOI for 15 days free of cost Java training in HEC, Jagadhri for
Synergy *

Free Java training of 15 days will commence in first week of Feb, 2015 in
Haryana Engineering College Campus . HEC will take care of boarding and
lodging of Girls students during complete duration of training in hostel.
Students have to pay only for food and lodging will be free in the hostel.
On the last day of training, final interviews by Synergy and Bitwise will
be held and Offers Letters will also be issued with joining
