The Postgraduate Department of Commerce, Siena College of Professional Studies, Edakochi, in association with the Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI), organised a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony on 2 July 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Kochi.
The MoU marks the beginning of a collaborative partnership aimed at strengthening academic–industry interaction by promoting academic collaboration, skill development, internship opportunities, industry exposure, and placement assistance for students. This initiative reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to bridge the gap between academia and industry and to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies required in today's dynamic business environment.

The Postgraduate Department of Commerce, Siena College of Professional Studies, successfully conducted a seminar on “Financial Awareness and Consumer Training” in association with the National Centre for Financial Education (NCFE) on 19 June 2026.
The session was led by Mr. Manoj T. Neelakantan, Former AGM, IDBI Bank, BFSI Sector Skills Trainer, and SEBI Certified Trainer. He provided valuable insights into financial literacy, personal financial management, consumer rights, financial quiz, and financial game. The programme enabled students to gain practical knowledge on responsible financial decision-making and the importance of financial planning in everyday life.

The workshop provided hands-on training on essential Excel functions, data management techniques, formulas, charts, data visualization, and reporting tools widely used in business and professional environments.
The workshop reflects skill development and preparing students for the demands of the modern workplace.
