While on my pen today, I think it would be worthwhile to tinker with a “small thing” having large dimensions- family as an economic unit. In the evolving journey of ‘joint family’ to ‘single family’ and thereon, to ‘living- together’ experiments, the sociology of all that is discussed profusely, but much less of its economics.
