Sushila Danchand Ghodawat Charitable Trust's Group of Institutions (SGI)'s is situated at Kolhapur Maharashtra. Sanjay Ghodawat institutes' motto is "Study in harmony with Nature"

of best-in- the-world education and become a world-class institution where teaching-learning process gets a far deeper meaning. SGI is considered as one of the best Engineering and management college's in the state of Maharashtra. The facilities provided at SGI is at par with international standards. विद्यार्थ्यांना स्थानिक भूगोलाची शास्त्रीय समज, नकाशावाचन कौशल्य आणि ग्रामीण विकासाबाबतची जाणीव वाढीस लागावी या हेतूने 14 जानेवारी भूगोल दिनाचे औचित्य साधून संजय घोडावत विद्यापीठात नुकताच भूगोल दिन साजरा करण्यात आला. याप्रसंगी भूगोल विभागाच्या वतीने 'माय व्हिलेज माय मॅप' स्पर्धेचे यशस्वी आयोजन करण्यात आले.

स्पर्धेचे उद्घाटन विद्यापीठाचे कुलगुरू प्रो. उद्धव भोसले यांच्या हस्ते झाले. यावेळी कुलसचिव डॉ. विवेक कायंदे, परीक्षा नियंत्रक डॉ. एन. के. पाटील, मानवविदया व सामाजिक शास्त्र संकुलाचे अधिष्ठाता डॉ. उत्तम जाधव, भूगोल विभाग प्रमुख डॉ. कपिल पाटील, तसेच प्रा. विशाल जाधव, प्रा. गोपाळ पाटील उपस्थित होते.

स्पर्धेचे परीक्षण प्रा. आज्ञा मांजरेकर व प्रा. अंबपकर यांनी केले. यावेळी विद्यार्थ्यांनी आपल्या गावाचा भौगोलिक नकाशा, नैसर्गिक संसाधने, लोकवस्ती, वाहतूक, जलस्रोत तसेच विकासाच्या संधी व समस्या यांचे पोस्टरद्वारे प्रभावी सादरीकरण केले. परीक्षकांनी विद्यार्थ्यांची सर्जनशीलता, नकाशा मांडणी, विषयाची स्पष्टता व सादरीकरण कौशल्य यांचे विशेष कौतुक केले. यासाठी विश्वस्त विनायक भोसले यांनी मार्गदर्शन केले.कार्यक्रमाच्या यशस्वी आयोजनासाठी भूगोल विभागातील प्राध्यापक, विद्यार्थ्यांनी विशेष परिश्रम घेतले. याबद्दल संस्थेचे चेअरमन संजय घोडावत यांनी सर्वांचे अभिनंदन केले.

Star Air, the aviation arm of the Sanjay Ghodawat Group, proudly supported a special educational initiative from Koppal, providing meritorious students with a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Selected through a merit-based examination by Headmaster Shri Birappa Andagi, 24 students boarded their first-ever flight, traveling from Vidyanagar (Ballari) to Bengaluru. Their journey included educational visits to Vidhana Soudha, the Planetarium, and the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s Office, making it a truly inspiring and memorable experience.

Our Story

The Sanjay Ghodawat University (SGU) is established in the Academic Year 2017-18. It is established as a State Private University under Govt. of Maharashtra Act No. XL of 2017 dated 3rd May 2017, with the approval of the UGC and the state Government. Academic Council of SGU governs the rules and regulations for the smooth conduct of academic programs with the approval of Governing Council of SGU, which shall continuously monitor the programs and makes appropriate amendments in the rules and regulations as per requirements whenever required. Various committees constituted as per the act will recommend the curriculum, addition/deletion of courses, assessment system, discipline and conduct of students to AC, to ensure that the quality of upgradation and the relevance of the program are maintained to meet the present changes that are taking place at different levels of higher education system.

The Sanjay Ghodawat University stands as a beacon of light to guide the younger generation of the day on the right path to fulfilment in career and life. The USP of the University is its research based curriculum and academically oriented teaching staff. The world class ambience and infrastructure helps the students to easily accommodate themselves in an environment that is conducive to the teaching- learning process. Hands on experience, challenge based case studies, maximum participation of students in the classroom, use of modern digital technology, smart classrooms, solution oriented thinking promotion, stress on research and innovation, international tie ups, choice based credit system for flexibility in choosing areas of interest etc. are some of the features of the University.
