Rhynor College extends heartfelt wishes to everyone on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami.
"May the life and values of Lord Rama inspire us to walk the path of truth, courage, and compassion.
Let this day bring peace, harmony, and spiritual strength to all."
🌼 Why is Ram Navami celebrated?
Ram Navami is celebrated to mark the birth of Lord Rama, one of the most revered deities in Hinduism. He is considered the seventh incarnation (avatar) of Lord Vishnu. The day is observed on the ninth day (Navami) of the Shukla Paksha (waxing moon phase) in the Hindu month of Chaitra, which usually falls in March or April.
✨ Significance of Ram Navami:
Birth of Lord Rama
It is believed that Lord Rama was born in Ayodhya to King Dasharatha and Queen Kaushalya.
His birth symbolizes the victory of good over evil and the restoration of dharma (righteousness).
Symbol of Virtue
Lord Rama is seen as the ideal man—a perfect son, husband, brother, and king.
His life and teachings, mainly told through the epic Ramayana, guide people on how to live with honesty, loyalty, and moral integrity.
Spiritual Importance
As an avatar of Vishnu, Rama's birth is considered a divine event, and his devotees believe that worshiping him on this day brings blessings, peace, and happiness.
