A Proud Research Achievement!
Researchers from D. Y. Patil Education Society (Deemed to be University), Kolhapur have received an Indian Patent for a technology that can help detect kidney problems at an early stage.

Developed by Prof. Arpita Pandey Tiwari and research scholar Mayuri Ghatage under the guidance of Prof. C. D. Lokhande, the technology measures creatinine, an important indicator of kidney health.

Big News from the Research Lab!
The Centre for Interdisciplinary Research (CIR) at D. Y. Patil Edication Society (Deemed to be University), Kolhapur has received an Indian Patent for a groundbreaking energy storage technology.

The patented innovation, “A Method of Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes/Copper Vanadate Oxide Coating for Energy Storage Application,” was developed by Prof. Dr. B. R. Sankapal, Suraj Sankapal, and Dr. Ajinkya Bagade under the guidance of Prof. Dr. C. D. Lokhande.

What makes this research special?
Using the SILAR (Successive Ionic Layer Adsorption and Reaction) method, the team has created an advanced coating technology through a simple and cost-effective process that can be used in the development of next-generation batteries and supercapacitors.

This patent marks another step forward in creating smarter and more efficient energy storage solutions for a sustainable future.
