When imagination meets storytelling
Students at the World Building Hackathon by École Intuit Lab Kolkata and Techno India University learned how every detail—from everyday objects to mythology—can shape immersive worlds and original game lore.

Marking its first edition in India and Kolkata, the Worldbuilding Hackathon dives into the art of immersive storytelling. Inspired by the atmospheric worlds of Dark Souls, participants design environments rich with narrative cues—shaping lore, characters, and stories that are both imaginative and contextually aware.

Bringing together students from École Intuit Lab Kolkata, Techno India University, and selected professionals, the hackathon challenges participants to collaborate and create four original IP worlds, highlighting how game art blends creativity, design, and science.

A big thanks to Indofuturism Studios and Dasein Labs for partnering with us and making this collaboration a success.

In collaboration with Indofuturism Studios & Dasein Lab, this studio-style, industry-grade sprint transforms the campus into a living lab for original Indian IP & Creative Franchise creation — the first of its kind in India.

Led by industry professionals with experience at Konami, Bandai Namco, FromSoftware, Ubisoft, Netflix, A24 & more.

Open to students (12th pass & above) and professionals.
