Our Mechanical Engineering students secured the **1st Position among 65 competing projects** at the Technics 2026 at Greater Kolkata College of Engineering and Management. Their innovative project, **INDROVE – A New Version of India’s Municipal and Industrial Pipeline Health System**, demonstrated exceptional technical excellence, creativity, and practical problem-solving skills. This remarkable accomplishment reflects the dedication, teamwork, and innovative mindset nurtured within our institution. APPRECIATION NOTE

It is a matter of great pride and satisfaction to acknowledge the outstanding achievement of Saugata Samanta and Najmul Islam Molla, students of Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science & Technology, for their commendable performance in a prestigious inter-college technical competition.

They participated in the *9th Inter College Competition on Prototype Design for Mankind (ICCPDM), organized by the Department of Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata, on 10th April 2026.* Competing with participants from various reputed institutions, they presented their innovative project titled “*Hybrid Multi-Tool CNC Engraving Machine*.”

The project showcased a remarkable integration of mechanical design, automation, and practical engineering application. Their innovative approach to combining multiple tools into a single CNC system reflects a deep understanding of efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and real-world usability—key aspects of modern technological development.

As officially certified , their dedication, creativity, and technical excellence were recognized with a *5th* position in the competition. This achievement highlights their strong problem-solving abilities, perseverance, and commitment to engineering innovation.
