"Service Before Self"
The Hospital Attachment Camp under the Army Medical Corps, organized by 41 Bengal Battalion at Command Hospital (Eastern Command), Kolkata, from 13th May to 23rd May, 2026, was a truly enriching and transformative experience for the cadets of Ashutosh College NCC.
CDT Parthik Mondal and CDT Priyashree Ghosh proudly represented Ashutosh College NCC and successfully participated in the camp.
Under the guidance of the Training JCO, Medical Officers, and Nursing Officers, the cadets underwent intensive training in Basic Life Support (BLS), First Aid, patient care, and essential medical procedures. One of the most valuable aspects of the camp was the opportunity to interact closely with serving Army medical personnel, gaining firsthand insight into military healthcare, professionalism, and the spirit of selfless service.
The dedicated participation of cadets reflected their enthusiasm to learn, adaptability, discipline, and teamwork throughout the camp. The camp concluded with a formal assessment. However, its greatest achievement lay in the values it instilled. Through rigorous training and strict discipline, the cadets developed resilience, composure under pressure, responsibility, and a deeper appreciation for the indispensable role of the Army Medical Corps in serving the nation.
Ashutosh College NCC congratulates both cadets on successfully completing the Hospital Attachment Camp and wishes them continued success in their NCC journey.
