organised Regional Seminar on Commodities as an Asset Class.
The introductory speech was delivered by Mr. Vibhor Tandon, AVP - BD, MCX Ltd. where he emphasized the role of exchanges in fair & transparent trade conduct. He also explained the method of Price Discovery in dealing with the different asset classes.
Then Mr. Priyank Shende, Manager, SEBI took the participants through the different aspects of share trading. He also discussed the roles played by multiple actors in the entire transaction mechanism. He enlightened about the various regulatory aspects of SEBI.
Finally, Mr. Shrikant KoundinyaAVP - Training & Education, MCX Ltd., enlightened the participants about multiple facets of commodities as an asset class.
The students enjoyed the session thoroughly as they learnt about a new aspect of the business, called trade in commodities.
