C.U. M.B.M. [Department of Business Management - Calcutta University] “A manager is responsible for the application and performance of knowledge.” The degree given is Masters in Business Management (MBM).

The post graduate department of Business Management was formed in 1985 with a view to fostering value based management education and research in order to the country’s growing need for qualified and efficient managers and management academics. The department is Calcutta University’s own Post-Graduate department – opposed to other affiliated management institutions – that offers full fledged two ye

ar full time degree course in Business Management. The department has also launched Masters in Human Resource Management (MHROM) from the year 2008. Within a short period the department has established itself firmly and distinctively in the world of management academics and professionals ever since the beginning, the department has grown steadily and expanded its gamut of academic activities and interactions with business and industry.
