Madhyamgram Green March is a registered NGO working to make our natural environment a better one since the year 2000 together with relentless campaigning to intensify environmental awareness. Our organization is a resourceful voluntary organization in the context of our activities on environment. Degradation of environment is mostly done by human beings because of their improper behavioral pattern
with nature it has become imperative to frame responsibility to compensate the loss incurred as a result of our continuous & arbitrary consumption from nature. The objective of our organization therefore, is to inculcate environmental consciousness and generate initiative in our inheritors of the earth tomorrow so that they do not commit the same blunders as we; their predecessors have done and brought our environment to such a deplorable state. Our organization is a registered NGO working for a better environment since the year 2000 together with relentless campaigning to intensify environmental awareness among people from all walks of life. The Environment Excellence Award 2004 was conferred on us by
the Chief Minister of West Bengal Hon’ble Sri Buddhadeb Bhattacherjee on behalf of W.B. Pollution Control Board and Indian Chamber of Commerce for our outstanding performance. Madhyamgram Green March is a resourceful organization in the context of our activities on environment. Some of our members are scholars in environmental science including one university lecturer in the subject.
