Gargi Memorial Institute of Technology(GMIT) is one of the best private engineering college in Kolkata., West Bengal. It offers B.Tech degree courses in Computer Science & Engineering(CSE), Electronics & Communication Engineering(ECE), Mechanical Engineering(ME), Electrical Engineering(EE) & Civil Engineering(CE). All B.Tech courses are approved by AICTE(All India Council for Technical Education)

and affiliated to WBUT(West Bengal University of Technology). GMIT facilitate the student with massive and comprehensive library support that comprises of over 2 Lakhs books and around 1000 Journals including large number of e-journals. WIFI Campus :GMIT is a wi-fi campus with 1 MBps internet speed at every place in the campus. One can browse the internet in the Classroom, Library as well as in the Canteen. GMIT is a Ragging Free campus with state-of-the-art infrastructure

Day 1 of ATMAN-AI 2K26(AI for Atma Nirbhar Bharat) — and what a day it was!
Gargi Memorial Institute of Technology kicked off ATMAN-AI 2K26 in the most electrifying way possible! The energy, the ideas, and the innovation in the room today was truly something special.
The conference was arranged by BSH and ECE Dept. jointly!
From deep dives into AI for Sustainable Development and AI in Healthcare to powerful conversations on AI in Agriculture and Cybersecurity — Day 1 left us inspired and hungry for more, as there are 26 papers to be published in the course of two days.
