🎉 New Research Publication! 🎉

We are delighted to share that our latest research article entitled "Biointerface-Engineered Gelatin–Silver Nanoparticles for Targeted Gene Delivery to Hepatocellular Carcinoma Cells" has been published in the Journal of Drug Delivery Science and Technology.

This work presents a biointerface-engineered gelatin–silver nanoparticle platform capable of selectively targeting hepatocellular carcinoma (HepG2) cells while simultaneously serving as an efficient non-viral gene delivery system. By engineering the nanoparticle surface with low-molecular-weight polyethyleneimine (bPEI), we achieved enhanced plasmid DNA delivery with transfection efficiency surpassing the commercial transfection reagent Lipofectamine® 2000. The study also demonstrates selective cellular uptake and apoptosis in HepG2 cells, highlighting the promise of this multifunctional nanoplatform for liver cancer therapy.

Congratulations to Sumedha Das , Disha Ghosh, and Debleena Ghosh for your hard work for this work. Wishing you many more scientific achievements ahead!
