So far it has been a magical year fr our department...afta a long wait we finaly hv won the Arena football nd cricket tournamnt...bt our success story doesnt end here...yesterday we hv even conquered the top spot in the Arena TT tournamnt tooo...so three in a row..more thn enuf to feel proud. isnt it..? cheers!

Let's get REUNITED. Jadavpur University Department of Electrical Engineering hosts its 38th Reunion this year!

The program is spread over 2 days.

12th January, 6 pm: Bengali comedy play "Rasamadhuri", staged by ex-students and one current teacher of the department, at the Dr Triguna Sen Auditorium.

13th January, 2:30 pm: Cultural program at KC Roy Hall, EE department

1. Fusion music by 2008 batch ex students
2. Vocal performance by Tirthankar Bose with Anish Mukherjee on the synthesizer
3. Dance performance by Priyanka Ghosh and Bidisha Sinha
4. Vocal performance by Aritra Mitra

5. Bengali drama by 2nd year "ADBHUTURE"

Everyone affiliated with the department is allowed both days, but only AT OR AFTER THE TIMES SPECIFIED.

Make sure, in particular, that you attend on Sunday, 13th January.

According to the decision taken frm FETSU's today's GB on 'New Placement Structure and Associated problems' it has been decided to form a protest march to VC's office in order to implement our demand of restoring the position of student co-ordinators in the main placement cell and allow them to take part in the next meeting of the newly formed Advisory Committee of Placement affairs on nxt Monday. As this is one of the gravest issues concerning each & evry student of our faculty,Your active participation in the march is highly solicited. So evryone is requested not to attend any classes tomorrow aftr the 1st half or literally boycott the 2nd half and gather in the field tommorrow at 1:40 to join the protest march. CRs' of each and evry section plzz co-operate in this regard.Thank u.
