The visit provided our undergraduate students with valuable exposure to thermal power plant operations, coal handling systems, power generation processes, maintenance practices, and industrial safety protocols, offering an enriching learning experience that complemented their academic curriculum.

We are delighted to congratulate Ms. Shaoni Banerjee (2026 passout - B.Tech in CSE ( IoT, CS, BT) on being selected as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF โ€“ Research) at IIT Kharagpur under the ISRO-sponsored research project titled "Defect Datasets Augmentation using Generative Adversarial Networks (GAN)".
