Cultivating a Culture of Reading: central Library in association with IQAC GNIT Hosts Successful Book Fair

The Central Library, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), GNIT, recently transformed into a vibrant hub for book lovers as it hosted an exciting Book Fair. The event was inaugurated with great enthusiasm, drawing a massive crowd of students, faculty members, and staff.

Tables lined the library aisles, showcasing an extensive collection of literature spanning academic textbooks, technical resources, fiction, self-help, and multi-genre bestsellers. Students were seen enthusiastically exploring the stalls, flipping through pages, and engaging in lively discussions about their favorite authors.

The AICTE IDEA LAB at Guru Nanak Institute of Technology successfully organized a six-day Skill Development Program on “Arduino & Raspberry Pi for Embedded and IoT Applications” from 11th–16th May 2026. The program provided hands-on training on Embedded Systems, IoT, Robotics, and Smart Automation Technologies for 40 enthusiastic students from various engineering disciplines.

With expert sessions, industry interaction by Saptak Bhattacharjee, practical exposure on Arduino, Raspberry Pi, NodeMCU, and innovative mini-project demonstrations, the program created an engaging and innovation-driven learning environment for future technologists.
