Introduction of uniform modalities for all PG Courses, both in the University Departments as well as in the affiliated Under-graduate Colleges offering Post Graduate (PG) Courses

• Centralized Admission Systemshall be followed for admission of the candidates applying for different PG Courses in the University Departments as well as for the admission to the PG Courses in affiliated / constituent colleges, in accordance with the University Admission Regulations and participation of the applicants in the process of Counseling on the dates to be notified by the University Authorities. A team comprising representatives of all the affiliated colleges offering PG Courses and University Departments shall be constituted for the purpose of counseling for admission.

Provisional Admission to Post-Graduate course in Mathematics for the Session 2017-2018 of Bangabasi Evening College.

ONLY GRADUATES WITH HONOURS IN MATHEMATICS MAY APPLY

• Applications for admission to M.Sc. course in Mathematics (2017-18 session) will be received only online through the websites -
www.bangabasievening.edu.in and to be submitted online
From 24.06.2017 to 20.07.2017
• Applicants must get a printout of the Application Form and Admit Card after online submission.
• Application Fee is Rs. 600/- (exclusive of Bank Charges) to be submitted through online or off line using State Bank Collect.
• Application Fee to be paid at any branches of State Bank of India or through online payment option from 24.06.2017 to 20.07.2017 (within Banking hours).
• The college has adopted the policy for reservation of seats ear-marked for CU and Non-CU candidates (as per Govt. policy).
• Date of Admission Test Examination for 40% of the seats on 28.07.2017.
• Date of publication of merit list for 60 % of the seats allocated for CU candidates to be announced on 31.07.2017.
• Date of Publication of merit list for 40% of the seats to be announced on 31.07.2017.
• Post-Graduate Classes of 1st Semester will commence from 2nd week of August, 2017.
• Defective application form is liable to cancellation.

2. Real analysis
3. Complex analysis
4. Differential and Integral Calculus
5. Differential equations
6. Numerical Analysis
7. Linear Programming Problem
8. Particle Dynamics.

About the Admission test:
1. Total 25 MCQ type questions to be answered, each carried 2
marks.
2. Duration of examination is 1 hour.
3. There is no negative marking.
4. Please bring all the documents mentioned in your admit card.
5. Admission test is mandatory for the candidates who are not
from C.U.
6. C.U. candidate may or may not appear for admission test. If
he/she appears in the examination then they are eligible for
both the merit list [for 60% and 40% sets], otherwise they are
eligible for 60% set only.
