University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur successfully organized its Orientation Programme 2026 on 19th August 2026, warmly welcoming the newest members of the UEM Jaipur family.
The programme introduced students to the University's academic ecosystem, leadership, faculty members, departments, support systems, and diverse opportunities available throughout their higher-education journey.
Addressing the newly admitted students, Prof. (Dr.) Biswajoy Chatterjee, Vice Chancellor, UEM Jaipur, extended a warm welcome and encouraged students to make the most of their university experience. He emphasized the importance of academic excellence, discipline, innovation, continuous learning, and active participation in academic and co-curricular activities.
Prof. Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, UEM Jaipur, highlighted the importance of discipline, regularity, professional conduct, and responsible citizenship, emphasizing that university life is an important phase for developing leadership, ethical values, communication skills, and social responsibility.

Another highlight was the Alumni Interaction, where alumni from different programmes shared their experiences and offered valuable guidance to the new batch, giving students an authentic perspective on life and career opportunities at UEM Jaipur.
The programme also familiarized students with the University's academic and administrative leadership, including the Controller of Examinations, Associate Deans, Heads of Departments, Coordinators, TPOs, Placement Coordinators, Chief Proctor, Chief Warden, hostel wardens, and project, accounts, and transport officials.
