Pragya - UEM Kolkata Quiz Club is organizing our Quiz festival. Inviting everyone to participate, including school students.

University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata is proud to present the second edition of our Quiz Festival, JIGISHA 2023, in the month of August!

The festival will witness multiple offline and online quizzes in genres like Entertainment, Technology, Sports, etc. being conducted by national-level quizmasters and quiz champions.

The events of JIGISHA 2023 are –

1. Jana Ojana: A General School quiz .
2. Friday Night Blockbuster: An Online MELA quiz
3. Hit the Homerun: An U25 Sports Quiz.
4. Convergence: An U25 Business and Technology Quiz.
5. Fandomania: An U25 Fandom & Pop-culture Quiz.
6. Pragya Sixth Sense: Our Flagship Open (no age limit) General Charity Quiz.

We, Phoenix, The Marketing Club of The Business Administration Department of UEM Kolkata held it's Felicitation Ceremony for the the for our grand event Consortium'23. The Felicitation Ceremony was hosted and presided over by the Faculty Coordinator of Phoenix as well as Consortium'23, Professor Joysri Datta in the presence of The Dean of Business Administration Department Professor (Dr) Sundeep Singh Sondhi & The HOD of the Business Administration Department Professor (Dr) Subrata Chattopadhyay. We were also honoured to have had the Presence of other Faculty Members of The Business Administration Department, Professor Kamalika Dasgupta, Professor (Dr) Udit Chawla, Professor Suchandra Bose, Professor Manali Chowdhury, Professor Kalyanbrata Ghosh & Professor Peanaky Mridha. All the Student Coordinators and Volunteers were Felicitated with a Certificate and a Medal of Appreciation. We from the Team Phoenix wishes to thank everyone for their invaluable support and dedication for the successful completion of the event and hoping for a greater Consortium'24.

Hello everyone,

The big inter-college quiz event by Pragya - UEM Kolkata Quiz Club finally came to an end, with a bang!

Sayan Majumdar from Guwahati Medical College bagged the 1st prize while an Indian student studying abroad, Sucharita Sarkar from the University of Groningen captured second place. Not far behind, Kanupriya Johari from SRM University Chennai finished the podium as the third winner.

Other finalists also performed at their best and gave a tough challenge to our winners. Hence we would like to congratulate all of them too.

Finally, we would like to thank our sponsors BOAT, who supported this event with goodies and cash prizes for all our finalists.

With this, our last inter-college event of 2021 came to an end. 2022 will be a new year, with more such awesome opportunities from Pragya and the University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata.
