With hearts full of gratitude and eyes filled with dreams, MBA 29 bid a heartfelt farewell to the incredible seniors of MBA 28 at the Army Institute of Management Kolkata. ❤️✨

The evening was a beautiful tapestry of emotions and celebrations, a bittersweet reminder that while goodbyes are difficult, the memories we create last forever. 🌸

From nostalgic 90’s Bollywood performances that brought everyone singing along 🎶, to electrifying dance performances 💃🕺, laughter-filled fun games 🎯, and unforgettable moments shared with friends who became family, the farewell was nothing short of magical.

The Army Institute of Management, Kolkata bid a heartfelt farewell to the graduating MBA 28 Batch, celebrating their journey of learning, leadership, and lasting memories.

The ceremony featured inspiring addresses, cultural performances, recognition of the outgoing Student Council, the Badge Pass-On Ceremony, and the Oath Taking Ceremony, marking the transition of leadership to the MBA 29 Student Council.

A special highlight of the event was the presentation of the Uma Dream Foundation Awards by Col (Dr.) Shantanu Roy, honouring excellence in research and all-round achievement. The ceremony also recognized outstanding contributions by students and staff, reflecting AIMK’s commitment to excellence and service.

Army Institute of Management, Kolkata (AIMK) proudly participated in the MCX COMQUEST 2026 – East Zone Final, one of the most prestigious national-level competitions on commodity markets and derivatives conducted by Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). The competition tested participants through three rigorous rounds of quizzes along with a practical commodity-based case study presentation, assessing their market knowledge, analytical ability, and decision-making skills under pressure.

We are proud to share that Sneha Biswas and Ankit Singh qualified among the top participants and reached the East Zonal Finals. Representing AIM Kolkata individually, they competed with top-performing students from across the region and showcased strong understanding of commodity markets and derivatives.
The finals were judged by Mr. Ashutosh Vasisht and Mr. Saurabh Khanna from MCX, whose industry insights and evaluation added immense value to the learning experience.

Participating in such a prestigious platform reflects AIM Kolkata’s commitment to experiential learning and industry-relevant exposure, and prepares students to engage confidently with real-world financial markets.

Welcoming a Distinguished Alumnus Back to His Alma Mater

The Army Institute of Management, Kolkata (AIMK) had the privilege of welcoming one of its distinguished alumni, Mr. Koushik Chatterjee (MBA 03 Batch, 1999–2001), CEO, Adamas Tech Consulting, London, UK, to the campus today. He was accompanied by Col. (Retd.) Shouvik Sen, Chief Operating Officer, and Mr. Pranab Das, Chief Technology Officer, from Adamas Tech Consulting.

The visit was attended by our Respected Director, Respected Registrar, Respected Principal, Head of Academics, Faculty Alumni Coordinator, and the Student Representative from the Alumni Team.

The interaction provided an enriching platform to discuss the evolving business landscape, emerging industry trends, technological advancements, and the changing expectations from management graduates in today’s dynamic global environment. Mr. Chatterjee also fondly reminisced about his memorable years at AIMK, sharing experiences that reflected the enduring bond between an alumnus and his alma mater.

The meeting further explored avenues for meaningful collaboration between Army Institute of Management, Kolkata and Adamas Tech Consulting, with a shared vision of creating greater opportunities for student learning, industry engagement, innovation, and professional development.
