J. K. Nattraja College of Arts & Science is an educational institution established by J. Rangammal Charitable Trust at Komarapalayam, Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, India.

J.K.K.Nattraja Arts and Science College, earlier known as Alamelu Angappan College for Women is situated at Komarapalayam, near Erode. The college is run by J.K.K.Rangammal Charitable Trust, whcih runs several institutions. This oldest college in the area, started in the year 1974. It has both Aided and Self Finance Courses. The Best Infrastructures are available in this institution.

The 2nd-year students of the Department of Tamil (JKKN College of Arts & Science - Autonomous) are embarking on an educational field trip to discover the roots of Tamil culture and archaeology at Keeladi.

Objectives of the Visit:
Understand the ancient history and rich culture of Tamils.
Learn the archaeological significance of the Keeladi excavations.
Discover the connection between history, literature, and archaeology.
Enhance practical learning skills through field observation.

“StyliTex 2K26” – Association Inaugural & Two-Day Crochet Workshop 🎨🧵

The Department of Textile and Fashion Designing (SF) at JKKN College of Arts & Science (Autonomous) successfully conducted its annual event, “StyliTex 2K26”, on 29th and 30th July 2026.

The event commenced with the formal inauguration of the department association, setting a vibrant milestone for the upcoming academic year. Following the inaugural session, a comprehensive Two-Day Crochet Workshop took center stage, providing students with direct hands-on exposure to practical textile techniques.

Throughout the two days, participants learned essential looping techniques, structural crochet patterns, and creative ways to incorporate handcrafted design into modern garments and accessories.

We extend our sincere thanks to our respected Management, Principal, Head of Department, faculty members, guest trainers, and students for making StyliTex 2K26 a memorable learning experience!
