A Meaningful Academic Engagement 📚
We had a truly enriching time during our recent academic colloquium, where students presented well-researched papers and engaged in thoughtful scholarly dialogue. Faculty members and fellow students responded with critical insights, questions, and affirmations, making the session a vibrant space for learning and intellectual growth.

The event reflected our shared commitment to rigorous academic training, constructive engagement, and the nurturing of confident scholar-practitioners. Such platforms not only sharpen research and presentation skills but also cultivate a healthy culture of listening, critique, and mutual learning.

Grateful for the enthusiasm of our students and the active involvement of our teachers, which together made this academic exercise a rewarding and memorable experience.

Christmas at the Seminary 🎄

Our seminary community came together to celebrate the joy, hope, and peace of Christmas in a spirit of worship and fellowship. Through Scripture readings, carols, meaningful reflections, and shared moments of joy, we were reminded once again that “the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14).

It was a beautiful occasion to witness students, faculty, and staff united as one family, rejoicing in the gift of Christ and renewing our commitment to serve God and His Church with faithfulness and humility.
We thank God for His abiding presence in our seminary and for the privilege of celebrating the Incarnation together.

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to those on whom His favor rests.

Today our hearts are full of gratitude!
Echuthung, one of our MTh scholars, raised funds from his local church and sponsored a new Coffee Machine for our students. What a beautiful gesture of love and generosity!

His willingness to give back reminds us that true leadership is not only about achievement, but about service to the community that shapes us.
May his example inspire many of our alumni, friends, and well-wishers to continue blessing the seminary family in meaningful ways.

We celebrate him—and we thank God for such leaders in the making!

We had a meaningful seminar on “Formation” conducted in collaboration with Mesa Global International. The sessions were enriched by insightful presentations from our distinguished resource persons — Dr. Jessy Jaison, Dr. Jaison Thomas, and Dr. Annie Eby. It was a valuable time of learning, reflection, and academic exchange for all participants.

The Community Development Diploma students of India Baptist Theological Seminary had a wonderful day out today! 🌿 They interacted with community projects, women empowerment initiatives, and enjoyed a cultural exchange with the Social Work students of St. Joseph’s College. A day full of learning, laughter, and great memories! 💫
