Founded in 1985, the Mookambigai College of Engineering is an offspring of Sri Mariamman Educational, Health and Charitable Trust, Woriyur, Tiruchirappalli. The Management consisting of a team with progressive – minded and benevolent trustees, has at the helm, the far sighted and enthusiastic president Thiru. The trust has another technical institution, Srinivasa polytechnic College under
its management, at the same campus. Since its inception, the Mookambigai College of Engineering has been trading a path of steady and sustained growth and achievements. Today this institution is an epitome of excellence, bears testimony to the high educational standards, a deep student – faculty involvement and a continuous industry – institution – society interaction as conceived by the Chairman of the Institution.
