World Environment Day was observed on 05 June 2024

This year the theme of World Environment Day is 'Land restoration, desertification and drought resilience'. As part of observing the day, a cleaning drive was organized in the station campus for removing non-degradable waste materials in the premises of the main office, Laboratory complex, Farm, and Sales counter etc. Scientific, technical and administrative staff as well as farm labourers participated in the cleaning drive.
