📚 One-Week Faculty Development & Institutional Quality Enhancement Program Inaugurated at The ICFAI University, Raipur
The Academic Monitoring Committee (AMC) of The ICFAI University, Raipur, in collaboration with the National Institute of Technology Raipur and under the aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), inaugurated a One-Week Faculty Development and Institutional Quality Enhancement Program on “Faculty Capacity Building for Academic Excellence” from 22–26 June 2026.
The program aims to strengthen faculty competencies in teaching, research, innovation, institutional governance, accreditation preparedness, leadership development, and technology-enabled learning. Experts from leading institutions across the country will deliver sessions on research and publication, research ethics, modern pedagogical practices, ICT-based teaching tools, accreditation and quality assurance, institutional excellence, leadership development, personality enhancement, and the effective utilization of SWAYAM MHRD, NPTEL, and other online learning platforms.
The inaugural session featured Dr. Suchetan Pal, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, IIT Bhilai, who delivered an insightful lecture on the significance and effective use of NPTEL, SWAYAM, and online learning courses in higher education.
Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof.( Dr.) Shiv Dayal Pandey emphasized that continuous professional development of faculty members is essential for achieving excellence in teaching, quality research, and institutional growth. He highlighted that such initiatives equip educators with contemporary knowledge, innovative teaching methodologies, and quality assurance practices aligned with national and global academic standards.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr.Jaya Singh, Chairperson, Academic Monitoring Committee, encouraged active participation from faculty members and informed that more than 100 participants from across the country have registered for the program.
This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to fostering academic excellence, strengthening research culture, enhancing digital learning practices, and promoting quality-driven institutional development.
