OBJECTIVES...

The major objectives of college are listed below: -

1. To buildup state-of-the-art infrastructure in the form of laboratories, workshops and other facilities.
2. To establish vast knowledge resource i.e., Library equipped with print and non print media with vast Internet facility.
3. To enhance capability of existing faculty by giving a thrust to faculty de

velopment programmes.
5. Having elaborate plan for arranging specialists on various fields as guest faculty.
6. Establishing efficient Teaching learning process by adopting emerging trends in ‘Educational Technology Media and Methods’.
7. To establish effective Industry – Institute Interaction for wider exposure to the students in the form of Industrial Training and Projects.
8. To encourage ‘student teaching practices’ in the form of seminars and selected topics which are beyond the scope of syllabus.
9. To ensure overall personality development of the students with exposure to communication skills, professional awareness courses and entrepreneurship programmes.
10. To establish dynamic placement cell for throwing open maximum possible job opportunities to the students.
11. Ensuring that faculty and students keep in view their social obligations while performing their duties for fulfillment of above objectives. KCT GOALS..

ਕੇ ਸੀ ਟੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਆਫ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਐਂਡ ਟੈਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਗੈਸਟ ਲੈਕਚਰ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਾ. ਨੀਰਜ ਗੋਇਲ, ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ, ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਡਾ. ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸਚਦੇਵਾ, ਡੀਨ ਅਕੈਡਮਿਕ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਲੈਕਚਰ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ “ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਭਾਰਤ” ਸੀ।

ਯੋਗਤਾ ਦਾ ਜਸ਼ਨ: ਕੇਸੀਟੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਸਕਾਲਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਟੈਸਟ ਨੇ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਨਵਾਂ ਮੀਲ ਪੱਥਰ
ਕੇ ਸੀ ਟੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਆਫ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਐਂਡ ਟੈਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਖਾਰਨ ਦੇ ਮਕਸਦ ਨਾਲ ਇਕ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਸਕਾਲਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਟੈਸਟ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਟੈਸਟ ਵਿੱਚ 850 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਲਈ ਮਾਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ। ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਆਏ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਟੈਸਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਬਲੀਅਤ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਟੈਸਟ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਸੁਚੱਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਿਤ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਵਧੀਆ ਬੈਠਣ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਣ ਪੀਣ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ । ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਟੈਸਟ ਲਈ ਭਾਰੀ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਮੀਦਾਂ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਰਾ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਸ਼ਿਖਿਆਤਮਕ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਣਾਦਾਇਕ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ।ਟੈਸਟ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਨਤੀਜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਸਮੇਂ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੋਰੰਜਕ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਰੌਣਕਮਈ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਦਰਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਇਸਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਲਿਆ।
ਨਤੀਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਐਲਾਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਤਸੁਕਤਾ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੀ। ਨੀਤੀਕਾ ਅਗਰਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਕੇ 21,000 ਰੁਪਏ ਦਾ ਨਕਦ ਇਨਾਮ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਟਿਊਸ਼ਨ ਫੀਸ ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਦੂਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ‘ਤੇ ਅਕਸ਼ਿਤਾ ਰਹੀ, ਜਿਸਨੂੰ 11,000 ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ 50% ਟਿਊਸ਼ਨ ਫੀਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੂਟ ਮਿਲੀ। ਤੀਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ‘ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ ਰਹੀ, ਜਿਸਨੂੰ 5,100 ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਇਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ 25% ਫੀਸ ਛੂਟ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ।ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ 3ਵੇਂ ਤੋਂ 14ਵੇਂ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ—ਰਿਧਮ ਗੁਲਾਟੀ, ਸਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਹਰਮੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਹਰਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਜਸਕਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ, ਵੰਸ਼ ਸਿੰਗਲਾ, ਕਿਰਨਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਰੀਆ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਸ਼ਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ—ਨੂੰ 1100-1100 ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਨਕਦ ਇਨਾਮ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ।ਸਾਰੇ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰੀ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ। ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਹ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਇਹ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ 10% ਟਿਊਸ਼ਨ ਫੀਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਛੂਟ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵੱਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
