The Faculty of Architecture, Planning and Design (FOAPD) is a premier institute in India for education in Architecture, Urban Planning, and Design. Our excellent teaching standards and its resonating outcomes can be testified by OUTLOOK’s all India Survey conducted stating that our department has been ranked 1 st in U.P. and 10th all over the nation among top architectural colleges for three conse

cutive years. Being the oldest cynosure imparting architectural education in any private university of the state; we realize our responsibility to deliver the best. We have a pool of teachers from all over the world with global teaching standards. The students of various programs are exposed to rich variety of design & planning expertise through fulltime faculty, outstanding professionals serves on our Juries. National & international level seminars, workshops, exhibitions are organized in partnership with collaborated universities & research organizations. Participating students are exposed to new way of thinking & imagining. Bridging the gap of academia to industry, we encourage our students to take part in competitions, institutional consultancy along with summer & practical trainings. Recently we worked with Oman Embassy for a reputed project on the 49th Oman National Day, 2019. There are different clubs like - photography, artistic, literary also to bring out the creative best from the student. Faculty of Architecture, Planning and Design is an abode for research and innovation. Our Post-graduate and research scholars are working uninterruptedly to face the challenges of the real world. In FOAPD, we nurture students with individual care through Mentor-Mentee system. It is with immense pride that we would like to announce and congratulate Ar. Abhinav Prasoon (RWAMP Studio, Mumbai), our Alumnus, whose design based on the theme "Muskuraiye Aap Lucknow Mein Hain", has been finalized by the Lucknow Development Authority through a National Level Competition as the final design for the 180m long Pedestrian Bridge linking Left and Right Banks of the Gomti Riverfront.

To add to our pride, even the 2nd position of the Pedestrian Bridge Design Competition was secured by our own Alumnus, Ar. Ashutosh Gupta.
