RGNAU Aerospace Engineering Students Visit HAL Korwa!

BTech students from the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU) visited Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) Korwa – Avionics Division.

This educational visit offered them valuable exposure to the manufacturing of aircraft communication systems. By exploring the facility, the students gained critical insights into how theoretical engineering principles are applied in aircraft communication technologies, bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world aerospace applications.

Research Publication | Advancing Perspectives on Learning & Development in the Age of Agentic AI

Congratulations 💐 to Dr. Anand Hindolia, Associate Professor, School of Management, Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU), on the publication of a research paper titled “When algorithms become employees: Reframing learning and development in the age of agentic AI,” in Development and Learning in Organisations (Emerald, Q2 journal).

The paper examines how agentic AI systems, capable of making decisions, pursuing goals, and learning from data, are reshaping organisational roles and challenging the conventional distinction between technology and workforce. It proposes treating such systems as digital employees and reconsiders key Learning and Development functions, including needs assessment, training design, performance evaluation, and transfer.

Drawing on socio-technical systems and the resource-based view, the study also outlines practical approaches to training-data auditing, performance monitoring, human oversight, and accountability.

RGNAU Vice-Chancellor Delivers Plenary Lecture at AJSAE 2026 in South Korea!

Prof (Dr.) Bhrigu Nath Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU), delivered a plenary lecture titled “Uncertainty Quantification of Textile Composites” at the Asian Joint Symposium on Aerospace Engineering (AJSAE 2026), held on 17 September 2026 at Lotte Hotel JEJU, Jeju Island, South Korea.

As a distinguished plenary speaker, Prof. Singh shared his academic expertise and research perspectives on uncertainty quantification in textile composites, contributing to scholarly discussions in aerospace engineering. In addition to his role as a plenary speaker, he serves as the Honorary Co-Chair of the Organising Committee and Chief Advisor to the International Advisory Committee of , contributing to the organisational leadership of the symposium.

As an esteemed member of the symposium’s organising team, Prof. Singh engaged with the exhibition activities, interacting with exhibitors and academic representatives showcasing advancements in aerospace technology and education. The exhibition featured satellite payload systems, satellite communication and electronic subsystems, and aerospace engineering innovations, including initiatives focused on aerospace artificial intelligence and high-tech talent development.

Representing RGNAU, Prof. Singh also shared the University’s academic vision with the global aerospace community, driving future academic partnerships.

RGNAU–KSNU: Exploring New Avenues for Academic Cooperation!

Professor (Dr.) Bhrigu Nath Singh, Vice Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU) - A Central University under the administrative control of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, visited Kunsan National University (KSNU) in South Korea today and met with Professor (Dr.) Kangjoo Kim, President, KSNAU, to explore new avenues of academic and research best-in-class collaborations.

The meeting was centred on creating opportunities for academic and technological exchange, including potential cooperation in research and twinning, joint dual degree and dual degree academic programmes, faculty and student engagement, and outreach, knowledge dissemination and sharing.

During the visit, Prof. Singh also interacted with Professor (Dr.) Seongkwan Mark Lee, Director, Institute of International Affairs & Language Education, KSNU, and Professor (Dr.) Hyun-Bum Park, Professor, School of Mechanical System Engineering, KSNU, along with other university officials. Professor C D Kong, International Distinguished Honorary Professor of RGNAU, also accompanied, along with a few other colleagues from IIT Kharagpur, India.

RGNAU looks forward to building meaningful collaborations between the two national universities in aviation, engineering, technology, research, innovation and higher education, further strengthening academic partnership between India and South Korea.

RGNAU Vice Chancellor Visits Korea Aerospace University to Advance Academic Collaboration!

As part of the continuing academic engagement under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU) and Korea Aerospace University (KAU), Prof. (Dr.) Bhrigu Nath Singh, Vice Chancellor of RGNAU, visited KAU in South Korea on 14 September 2026. During the visit, he met with Dr. Hee-Young Hurr, President of KAU, along with senior officials of the university.

The meeting focused on the core objectives of the MoU, which provides a comprehensive framework for collaborative academic engagements. This includes joint research, shared lectures and conferences, the exchange of faculty, scholars, researchers, and students, as well as the sharing of academic and research resources.

Prof. Bhrigu Nath Singh and Dr. Hee-Young Hurr discussed on strengthening the academic relationship between the two universities and exploring opportunities for deeper cooperation in aviation education. Prof. Singh also toured Korea Aerospace University's academic infrastructure, specialised facilities, and aviation laboratories, gaining valuable insights into KAU's educational, technological, and research capabilities in the aviation and aerospace domains.

This visit marks another significant step forward in strengthening India–Korea academic cooperation in aviation, advancing a mutual commitment to excellence, innovation, and global academic collaboration.

राजीव गांधी राष्ट्रीय विमानन विश्वविद्यालय में हिन्दी पखवाड़ा-2026 का सफल उद्घाटन!

राजीव गांधी राष्ट्रीय विमानन विश्वविद्यालय में दिनांक 11 सितंबर 2026 की संध्या 4 बजे हिंदी पखवाड़ा उद्घाटन समारोह आयोजन किया गया। आयोजन में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में श्री सी. के. पांडेय, पूर्व सूचना आयुक्त, उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य सूचना आयोग की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति रही। सभा को संबोधित करते हुए उन्होंने कहा, "यह आयोजन युवाओं को अपनी भाषा के प्रति जागरूक करने का एक बेहतरीन माध्यम है। हमें हिंदी को हमारी दैनिक कार्यशैली का हिस्सा बनाते हुए अपनी क्षमता के अनुसार प्राथमिकता देने का प्रयास करना चाहिए। मैं इस प्रेरणादायक आयोजन के लिए विश्वविद्यालय प्रबंधन को बधाई देता हूँ और हिंदी पखवाड़े के अंतर्गत होने वाली सभी प्रतियोगिताओं की सफलता की कामना करता हूँ।"

इस अवसर पर विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति महोदय प्रोफेसर भृगु नाथ सिंह ने कर्मचारियों को अपने दैनिक कार्यालयीन कार्यों में हिंदी के अधिकाधिक प्रयोग करने के लिए प्रेरित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि हिंदी हमारे विविध संस्कृतियों वाले देश को एकता के सूत्र में बांधती है। उन्होंने छात्र-छात्राओं से को हिंदी के साथ-साथ अपनी प्रांतीय भाषाओं का सम्मान और उपयोग करने के लिए भी प्रोत्साहित किया।

इस कार्यक्रम में विश्वविद्यालय के कुलसचिव प्रो. एस. एल. हरिकुमार भी शामिल हुए। सभा का समापन मुख्य अतिथि को सम्मानित कर के किया गया। कार्यक्रम में शिक्षकों, अधिकारियों, कर्मचारियों एवं विद्यार्थियों की उपस्थिति रही। कार्यक्रम का संचालन विश्वविद्यालय के हिंदी अधिकारी डॉ श्वेतांशु शेखर ने किया।

इस कार्यक्रम के अलावा विश्वविद्यालय में ऑनलाइन हिंदी कार्यशाला का भी सफलतापूर्वक आयोजन किया गया। इस ऑनलाइन कार्यशाला में श्री गोपाल, प्रबंधक (राजभाषा), भारतीय प्रबंधन संस्थान, अमृतसर ने अतिथि वक्ता के रूप में सहभागिता की तथा राजभाषा नीति एवं उसके प्रभावी कार्यान्वयन से संबंधित विभिन्न महत्वपूर्ण पहलुओं पर विस्तृत एवं ज्ञानवर्धक व्याख्यान दिया। कार्यशाला में विश्वविद्यालय के अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों ने ऑनलाइन माध्यम से सहभागिता की।

विदित हो कि विश्वविद्यालय में 1 सितंबर, 2026 से 30 सितंबर, 2026 तक हिंदी पखवाड़ा का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। इसके अंतर्गत आगामी दिनों में छात्रों और कर्मचारियों के लिए हिंदी निबंध लेखन, तकनीकी शब्दावली वाद-विवाद, काव्य पाठ और प्रश्नोत्तरी जैसी प्रतियोगिताएं आयोजित की जाएंगी।
