✨On 27th February 2026, Krishna Nursing and Paramedical Institute, Lucknow, proudly celebrated its 17th Lamp Lighting Ceremony for the B.Sc. (N), GNM, and ANM 2025-26 batch. This momentous occasion marked the formal induction of the 2025 batch into the noble nursing profession.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Registrar of ABVMU Lucknow, & Mr. Anju George Thomson (Chief Nursing Officer), Max Super Specialty Hospital Lucknow. Both dignitaries shared their insights, inspiring students to embrace their roles as compassionate caregivers and future healthcare leaders.
The event began with the ceremonial lamp lighting by Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Mr. Anju George Thomson, Dr. Chandravati (Managing Trustee KEF), Prof. C.M. Jariwala (Trustee, KEF), Dr. Tejal J. Chaturvedi (Director, KNPI), Dr. Anuraag Chaturvedi (Director, KCEM) and Prof. Jenny D (Principal, KNPI) and Prof Anurag Singh Chauhan, Vice principal.
In his address, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar highlighted the vast opportunities in the nursing field, stating, “India will witness nursing job openings in the coming years. I urge you to groom yourselves professionally and aim for higher education.”
Mr. Anju George Thomson encouraged students to uphold the core values of nursing and remain steadfast in their pursuit of healthcare excellence.
The event featured vibrant cultural performances, bringing energy and joy to the solemn ceremony. Students took the Florence Nightingale Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to patient care and ethical practices, while over 300 students attended, making it a truly inspiring event.
The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt song by the students.
