The esteemed Legal Cell Of Amity Law School in collaboration with Uttar Pradesh State Legal Services Authority and Common Service Centers
successfully conducted XV Legal Aid Awareness Camp at Shah ji ka Purwa village of Gosaiganj tehsil on 02nd October , 2019 under the kind guidance of Prof.J.P.Yadav, Director, Amity Law School, Dr. Arvind Kumar Singh, Amity Law School, Prof. G.K.Chandani, Organizing Secretary, Legal Aid Cell, Amity Law School, Prof. S.K. Gaur, Organizing Secretary, Legal Aid Cell, Amity Law School, and Ms. Pooja Kaushik, Faculty Coordinator,Ms. Axita srivastava Faculty CoordinatorLegal Aid Cell, The Student Coordinator of the event was Prashant Kumar Mishra .The event saw the presence of an array of high officials, local authorities and para legal volunteers bestowing impetus and zeal to the event. Sangeeta, para legal volunteer, DLSA, Shri Bodhlal, para legal volunteer, DLSA Lucknow graced the occasion with their benign presence and conducted Lok Adalat for redressal of the issues faced by the villagers. Other local authorities including Shri Saurabh Singh Chauhan, Member, Common Service Centre, Shri Rajesh Kumar, Gram Pradhan, Jahangirpur, Shri Girish Pandey, Former Principal, Chief Income Tax Commissioner, Shri Pramal Dwivedi, Media Consultant, Shri Maya Ram, Nayab Tehsildar, Mohanlalganj, Shri Rajkumar Dwivedi, para legal volunteer, DLSA, Advocate Sachin Kumar Verma, Bar Association, Mohanlalganj, Adv. Rajkumar Dwivedi, Bar Association, Mohanlalganj, Adv, Kaushlendra Shukla, Bar Association, Mohanlalganj, Adv. K.P. Yadav, Bar Association, Mohanlalganj, Adv Gaurav Shukla, Bar Association, Mohanlalganj, Uma Shankar Verma, revenue Inspector, Rama Kant Verma, Lekhpal, Shashi Bajpai, Lekhpal, Shri Syed Mohd. An influential Nukkad Natak based on the theme of Election, Toxication and Drug Abuse was also performed to spread awareness. The members also recorded a myriad of socio-legal problems ranging from sanitation in homes and schools, electricity, open defecation, water logging, lack of school infrastructure, Vradhhavastha Pension, ration card, AADHAAR card and voter id card etc.,being faced by the villagers for further redressal and resolution while the legal cases were taken note of by the para legal volunteers. The Legal Aid Cell of Amity Law School has conducted 12 successful camp and this event added another feather to its cap. Amity Legal Aid Cell further adopted the village for redressal of the problems.
