Model United Nations (MUN) is an activity in which students participate as delegates, assuming the role of diplomats of the countries they represent, in academic simulations of actual UN bodies and forums of international relations. Discussing and deliberating on issues which affect the world community at large, this activity aims to educate participants about current affairs, international events

and the United Nations agenda, while at the same time broadening their understanding of international politics, diplomacy, and the need for harmonious coexistence. Through their skills of negotiation and deliberation, students develop solutions to counter various problems faced by the world today. The Ninth edition of La Martiniere Model United Nations will be held from the 18th to the 20th of November, 2022. For any queries regarding the conference, you can contact us here:

It is our utmost pride and honour to introduce to you the epitome of debate, discussion, and diplomacy. A forum dedicated to sharpening the ideas of youth, broadening their perspectives, formulating decisions that have far-reaching consequences, and urging delegates to reflect upon the grey areas of morality.
We present to you La Martiniere Model United Nations 2026 — The Thirteenth Session.

The world is witnessing wars, famines, and the sacrifice of thousands for political gain, with human lives being treated as pawns in a system seemingly bent on self-destruction. In an epoch of tumult, as destruction and desolation grow increasingly familiar, LMUN chooses a less trodden path. We choose to foster empathy, cordiality, and resolute action, even as the cacophony of crises continues to define the global landscape.

The La Martiniere Model United Nations Society comprises individuals pledged to further the legacy of our predecessors—dedicated young minds striving to simulate dynamic and multifaceted committees addressing the aggravated issues plaguing society, politics, economics, and more.

We, at La Martiniere College, vow to bring forth an unparalleled experience that upholds the standards and legacy of the previous twelve sessions that echo through the halls of the College, while raising the bar even higher. As we welcome delegations from across the nation and around the globe, we strive to host a bastion of erudite debate, cogent discussion, and analytical resolutions.

The La Martiniere Model United Nations Society proudly presents the Thirteenth Session of La Martiniere Model United Nations.

We welcome you from the 30th of October to the 1st of November, 2026.

Bringing forth the Secretary-General of La Martiniere Model United Nations 2025 - Kushagra Khare.

Popularly known as KK, a pupil authority of the college, he is a student of ISC Batch of 2026 pursuing Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Mass Media & Communication. He is an ardent public speaker who has demonstrated his oratory and debating skills in nationwide debates, Model UNs, and other speaking competitions, earning numerous honors along the way.

Despite LMUN being a huge part of his life, he emphasises a lot on his academics resulting in him securing the June Misra Memorial Medal for the Student who secured the Highest Marks in English in ICSE Examination, 2024 and the Harsaran Singh Thapar Memorial Merit Scholarship for the student who stood Second in the ICSE Examination, 2024 scoring 98% overall. Along with these numerous laurels, he also secured a perfect score in his Mathematics ICSE examination making it a landmark year for him.

He also served as the Lead Organiser of the Annual Hindi Literary Fest of the College. As much as he is updated with contemporary events, he takes a keen interest in the past as he served as the President of La Martiniere History Society.
On the field, he has also served as one of the leading cadets of the National Cadet Corps 'Air Wing' of the College during his tenure.

If you see the drift of LMUN’s ideology towards aviation, it is because of KK being an aviation enthusiast. He is the person who is responsible for the illustrious Chief Guests that LMUN has been able to host this year. The rare days when he is not preoccupied with work, he loves to jam on his favorite artist, KK or telling his friends how valuable these days in school life are and how it's coming to an end.

With a stint of competitive exams coming up from the very next day of the closing ceremony, Kushagra says he has completely ignored them as of now and given his complete dedication and commitment to making the Twelfth Session of LMUN an indelible experience for our Faculty Advisor and for the delegates, the best ever since the inception of LMUN.

Introducing the Under-Secretary-General for Conference Management, Shiv Chawla

Shiv is a student of Class 12, pursuing Accountancy, Commerce, Economics, and Mass Media & Communication. An academic all-rounder, Shiv scored 95.6% in his ICSE Boards, bagging subject prizes in Hindi and Commerce, and later went on to become the Rank Holder in Class 11, with batch-highest scores in Commerce and Mass Media & Communication.

He somehow manages to balance academics, leadership, and a dangerously good playlist — all with effortless charm. Off the books, Shiv has made his mark as a state-level U-14 cricket player, a badminton regular, and a business enthusiast who has represented the school at several events.

Having been part of the LMUN society for three years, Shiv now runs the show as the Under-Secretary-General for Conference Management — the man behind committee setups, coordination, logistics, aesthetics, and the decoration troupe. In short, he’s the one to thank for the seamless experience.

When he’s not managing chaos, Shiv is either perfecting his hot chocolate recipe, binging Gossip Girl (proudly), reliving The Summer I Turned Pretty, or rewatching the finale of Suits for the hundredth time. His music taste? As unpredictable as his humor — from Lana Del Rey and core Punjabi tracks to Eminem on loop.

With his mix of creativity, control, and charisma, Shiv makes LMUN’25 not just organized — but unforgettable.
