Indian Army conducted a seminar on Agniveer recruitment in college with the objective of motivating students to join the Indian Army. The event aimed to create awareness among youth about career opportunities in the Indian Armed Forces. During the session, Army officials guided the students regarding various entry schemes into the Indian Army, eligibility criteria, selection process, and career benefits.

The International Women’s Day, which is observed on 8th of March every year was celebrated at GND ITI. The program was presided over by Honrable Principal Mrs. Sarabjit Kaur. In her address, she brought out the role of woman in family and society. She said that women’s day is to celebrate the achievements of women in various fields and also to express our respect towards them. She added that women play a dominant role in the society and also illustrated the achievements of some notable women personalities. Students, too, shared their views on woman empowerment and ongoing scenarios and also produced paintings and posters focused on empowerment, equality, and women's rights. The Program was concluded by the vote of thanks by S. Amandeep Singh (GI).

GND ITI also give opportunities in the field of sports and culture to the learners every year. In sports, different events such as sprints, long-high jump, Discus throw, shot put etc. and competitions in Volleyball, Tug of war and Badminton. Painting, Rangoli, Quiz and Speech competitions were also organized to foster creativity and teamwork among students.

In the field of Culture, Cultural function and prize distribution was also held. Encouraging students to participate in cultural activities is the most effective way to upgrade personality-related skills. These include activities like dancing (Gidha, Bhangra), singing, skits, Choreography etc. Cultural activities enable students to gain confidence and understand their culture in a much better way. Students were honored with trophies, medals and certificates amidst applause from the audience.
The event was graced by Honorable S. Baljinder Singh ( Deputy Director, Technical Education & Industrial Training Dept. Punjab cm Principal Govt. ITI Gill Road, Ludhiana), who was the Chief Guest on the occasion. S. Iqbal Singh (Director, NSET) and Dr. Sehijpal Singh (Principal, GNDEC) were also present with other dignitaries.
At the end Honorable Principal Mrs. Sarabjit kaur thanked all distinguished guests for gracing occasion. She also thanked staff for their hard work to make this event memorable.

Students of JLN Govt. Sen. Sec. Smart School, Jawahar Camp, Ludhiana visited GND ITI as part of an educational exposure programme. They were taken on a guided tour of various trade labs, where they learned about courses, workshop practices, and modern equipment used in technical fields. Trade staff explained the importance of hands-on training, and the scope of technical skill in building a strong career.
