Team Artisans, GNDEC Ludhiana ARTISANS is a team of Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College , Ldh which participates in an international

“ABU Robocon” is an international robotic competition founded in 2002 by Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union(ABU) and co-produced by broadcaster members of participating countries. In the competition, robots compete to complete a theme based task within a set period of time. The contestants in this competition are restricted to be undergraduate students, aiming to enable young minds to get exposure

to advanced engineering. Every year, this contest is held in two phases :

Phase 1: The national robotic contest is organized in every participating country in the first week of march by the broadcaster member of the respective country .The winner team of this national contest is awarded and honoured to represent its country in the International Competition. Phase 2: Held in the month of august, the representative teams of all the participating countries contest among them to emerge as the final winner of ABU Robocon . The venue for international competition is selected from among the participating countries and the whole event is broadcasted in different countries through member broadcasters.
