Today (13th March 2026 | 09:30 AM), the State Level Polytechnic Project Expo 2026 is being conducted at Solamalai Institutions, Solamalai Knowledge Park, Madurai.

We are honored to welcome C. Saravanakumar, M.Tech., Principal, Government Polytechnic College, Theni, as the Chief Guest for this prestigious event.

More than 150+ colleges and 400+ students are participating and presenting their innovative projects and creative ideas. This expo provides a great platform for students to showcase their talents, technical skills, and innovative thinking.

Seminar Hall Inauguration Ceremony – A Proud Milestone

Solamalai Institutions marked a significant milestone with the grand inauguration of the new Seminar Hall at the VOC Block on 24 February 2026.

The ceremony commenced with the screen unveiling by Chairman Mr. V.S.P. Solamalai Pitchai, followed by the ribbon-cutting ceremony led by the esteemed Chief Guest Dr. Sheela Ramachandran, Chief Advisor.

The event began with a warm welcome address delivered by Dr. N. Suthanthiravanitha, Principal, Solamalai College of Engineering. Felicitation addresses were presented by Mr. S.P. Aravind and Mr. S.P. Anand, Executive Directors, who highlighted the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and infrastructure development.

The Presidential Address by the Chairman emphasized the importance of modern learning spaces in shaping future professionals. The Chief Guest, Dr. Sheela Ramachandran, delivered an inspiring address, encouraging students to utilize the new facility for knowledge enhancement and innovation.

The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Mr. P. Jeyakumar, Principal, Sri Solamalai Polytechnic, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty, and students for making the event memorable.

The newly inaugurated seminar hall stands as a symbol of progress, providing a modern platform for seminars, academic discussions, and intellectual growth.
