Internal Hackathon: A Gateway to Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2026

The Internal Hackathon 2026 was successfully organised at Central University of Haryana (CUH) on 22 September 2026 by the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) in association with the Centre for Innovation and Incubation (CII) and Institute Innovation Council (IIC).
The event provided students with a platform to showcase creativity, innovation, teamwork and problem-solving skills while addressing real-world challenges aligned with the themes of Smart India Hackathon 2026.
26 teams participated across Hardware and Software categories, demonstrating technical creativity and an enthusiastic spirit of innovation.
The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor encouraged students to actively engage in innovation and entrepreneurship and contribute to building a vibrant startup ecosystem at CUH.
The Hon’ble Pro-Vice-Chancellor emphasised “desi making” and jugaad, encouraging students to develop practical, indigenous, simple and implementable solutions using available resources.

The Women Empowerment Cell, Central University of Haryana, organised ‘CUH Women Faculty Connect-2026’ on the theme “Connecting, Collaborating and Celebrating Women in Academia.”

The programme featured meaningful discussions on women faculty wellbeing, work-life balance, leadership and academic collaboration, along with engaging group activities and a Faculty Spotlight Session showcasing the achievements and expertise of women faculty members.
