*An Inspiring "Tiranga Rally" at Sharbati College of Nursing* 🇮🇳
In a remarkable display of national pride, Sharbati College of Nursing was vibrant with the colors of the Indian Tricolour as students, faculty, and staff participated in a lively Tiranga Rally on the eve of Independence Day 2025. This event, organized as part of the nationwide *“Har Ghar Tiranga”* initiative, beautifully commemorated the spirit of national unity.
Participants, dressed in white to symbolize peace, enthusiastically carried the Indian national flag through the main streets adjacent to the campus. The air was filled with patriotic chants, the uplifting melodies of national songs, and the sight of hundreds of people proudly waving the Tiranga. The rally created a vibrant spectacle that captivated onlookers and members of the broader community.
*Fostering a Deeper Connection to the Flag*
The rally aimed to foster a personal and emotional bond with the Indian flag among the youth, aligning with the campaign’s fundamental message: to celebrate independence as a collective, heartfelt experience.
Faculty members emphasized the profound significance of the Tiranga, explaining that it transcends being merely a flag—it embodies India’s unity, diversity, and resilience.
The event was graced by esteemed college leaders, including *Dr. (Major) Surat Singh Yadav, the founder of Sharbati Surgical and Maternity Home and Sharbati Nursing College,* and *Dr. Abey Varughese, Principal of Sharbati College of Nursing.* They both delivered powerful speeches, urging students to uphold the ideals represented by the Tricolour and to always honor the sacrifices made for India's freedom.
*A Call for Renewed Patriotism*
As the rally concluded, the atmosphere was infused with renewed patriotism, reflecting the true essence of " *Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav".* This year’s event not only highlighted the unity and passion of the college community but also resonated with the national movement’s theme—reaffirming that India's strength resides in its steadfast spirit, diversity, and collective dedication to its ideals.
*Jai Hind*🙏🏻🇮🇳
