Darul Huda Islamic University is an Islamic institution situated on the banks of the River Kadalundy, located at Chemmad, Tirurangadi taluk in Malappuram, Kerala, India spreading over 11 acres (45,000 m2) of land (44,500 m²) with calm and serene surroundings. The Foundation stone was laid on 25 December 1983, and started functioning on 26 June 1986. The Academy is Affiliated to world famous Al-Azh

ar University, Cairo, & Jamia Millia University, New Delhi, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, Moulana Abul Kalam Azad National Urdu University, Haidrabad. The Islamic University aims at bringing up a younger generation of Islamic scholars well-equipped with modern tools of knowledge. It has a unique system of education where a student admitted to the institute after five years of primary education has to go for 12 years of education (2+4+4+2 Preliminary, Special Secondary, Degree, Masters). After 12 years of education the student will come out as Master of Islamic Studies & Arabic Language with good command of English and Urdu languages. TheIslamic University differs from other traditional Islamic institutions in Kerala as other institution may offer only religious studies while the Academy offers a unique curriculum combining religious and secular studies and giving emphasis on different languages. As a result the scholars studied in the Academy could get wide acceptance[citation needed]in Keralite Muslim Community and more and more institutions started to change their curriculmn and accept the Darul Huda Model.

ഭൗതിക പഠനത്തിന് മാത്രം ഊന്നൽ നൽകി മുസ്‌ലിം പെൺകുട്ടികളുടെ മതധാർമിക വിദ്യാർഥിത്വം അന്യം നിന്ന് പോകുമോയെന്ന ആശങ്കയിൽ നിന്നാണ്
ഹയർ സെക്കൻഡറി, ഡിഗ്രി തലത്തിൽ പഠനം നടത്തുന്ന വിദ്യാർഥിനികൾക്ക് സമഗ്രമായ മത-ഭൗതിക സമന്വിത കരിക്കുലം ഒരുക്കി വർത്തമാന കാലത്തോട് സംവദിക്കാൻ പ്രാപ്തരായ പണ്ഡിത വനിതകളെ രൂപപ്പെടുത്താൻ 2016 ൽ ദാറുൽഹുദാ പൊതുവിദ്യാഭ്യാസ വിഭാഗം CPET ന് കീഴിൽ മഹ്ദിയ്യ ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്.

ഒരു പതിറ്റാണ്ട് പിന്നിട്ട ഈ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സംവിധാനത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ബിരുദധാരികളായി പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ 1058 മഹ്ദിയ്യകൾ വിവിധ മേഖലകളിൽ സ്തുത്യർഹ സേവനങ്ങൾ നിർവഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

നാല്പത്തിലധികം പഠനകേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിലായി രണ്ടായിരത്തി അഞ്ഞൂറോളം വിദ്യാർഥിനികൾ പഠിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന കോഴ്സിന്റെ ഈ അധ്യയന വർഷത്തിലേക്കുള്ള അഡ്മിഷൻ ആരംഭിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്.

SSLC കഴിഞ്ഞ, ഉപരിപഠന യോഗ്യതയുള്ള സമസ്ത മദ്റസ 7-ാം ക്ലാസ് അല്ലെങ്കിൽ തതുല്യ യോഗ്യതയുള്ള പെൺകുട്ടികൾക്ക് CMS കോഴ്‌സിനും +2 പഠനം കഴിഞ്ഞ CMS/തതുല്യമായ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ യോഗ്യത നേടിയവർക്ക് മഹ്ദിയ്യ ഡിഗ്രി കോഴ്സിലേക്കും അപേക്ഷിക്കാവുന്നതാണ്
