NITTE YOUNG INNOVATORS SUMMIT -2025 was hosted by A J Institute of Engineering and Technology where students from all over exhibited their projects.

Dr A P Achar – CEO AIC Nitte spoke about the role and initiatives of AIC Nitte, emphasizing the importance of innovation and the need for startup entrepreneurs to identify and understand various funding sources available at different stages of business growth. He also highlighted how funding opportunities play a crucial role in fostering innovation, enabling scalability, and supporting the sustainable development of startups.

Dr. Puneeth Raj, Founder and CEO of Seminar Room Education, shared his journey of entrepreneurship, highlighting his experiences as an innovator and entrepreneur. He candidly discussed his successes and failures and emphasized the key precautions and lessons aspiring entrepreneurs should consider while building and scaling their ventures.

Mr. ChetanShirnalli, Partner, CoCreate Ventures, Bengaluru shared his journey of entrepreneurship, highlighting his experiences as an innovator and entrepreneur. Also about the funding opportunities the companies that has been funded

Mr. Anup P., Banking Technologist and Entrepreneur, spoke in detail about the Silicon Beach Program, outlining its vision to position Coastal Karnataka as a vibrant hub for technology-driven startups and innovation. He highlighted the emerging opportunities across sectors and discussed the types of ventures that are yet to be established in the Coastal Karnataka region, emphasizing the untapped potential and the need for focused efforts to build a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem in the area.

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AIDS) organized a Workshop on “Artificial Intelligence, Prompt Engineering and Automation” on 21st November 2025 from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM at Lab 421. Workshop is conducted by Mr. Mohammed HazeemShaim, Ibrahim Kaleel, Mohammed Ismail and Ms. Payeshwini from E26 Media Private Limited.
The event aimed to provide students with insights into modern AI technologies, the role of effective prompt engineering, and the growing impact of automation across industries. The session began with a warm welcome address delivered by Ms. Srijana, who greeted the guests, resource persons, faculty members, and participants. The workshop created an engaging platform for learners to understand practical AI applications, explore new techniques for interacting with AI models, and discover how automation is transforming real- world workflows.Ms.Sanvi and Mr Abhishek got winning prizes for the activities conducted by the resource team. A total of 56 students of 5th semester AI&DS participated in the event.
The entire event is coordinated by Prof.Navya Association Coordinator and supported by Dr. Padmanayana AI&DS.

• Professionalism and Expectations by Mrs. Disha C. Shetty.

The third day emphasized values, innovation, and student welfare. Sessions included:
• Institute Innovation Council (IIC) and Research by Dr. Gnane Swarnadh Satapathi.
• Universal Human Values by Dr. Kishore Shetty.
• Corporate Expectations by Mr. Satyayendra Prasad.
• Campus Safety and Anti-Ragging Orientation by Dr. Antony P. J.

The Department of Information Science and Engineering organized a grand celebration of the Student Association & Club Inauguration – IGNITIA 2025 under the banner of HIEKA (For Uniqued) on 15th October 2025 at Seminar Hall-3, A J Institute of Engineering and Technology, At 1:30 PM.

The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Praveen Castelino, Co-Founder and CTO of Codecraft Technologies Pvt. Ltd., who was the Chief Guest for the occasion. The program was presided over by Dr. Shantharama Rai C, Principal, AJIET, in the esteemed presence of Dr. Antony P J (Vice Principal & HOD, Dept. of CSE), Dr. P. Mahabaleshwarappa (Dean Academics), Dr. John Prakash Veigas (HOD, Dept. of ISE), and other dignitaries.

The event began with an invocation and the traditional lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, symbolizing the beginning of a new journey of innovation and unity. Mrs. Sharanya P S, Association Coordinator, and Dr. Krishna Prasad, Club Coordinator, guided the program proceedings.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by cultural performances including games, dance, and entertainment programs by the students of the department, adding liveliness to the occasion. The entire event was well coordinated under the guidance of the HOD, Association Coordinator, Club Coordinator, and the faculty members.

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science celebrated Ayudha Pooja on 1st October 2025 with great devotion and enthusiasm. The department was beautifully decorated for the occasion, creating a festive atmosphere.The pooja began with traditional rituals invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati and Lord Vishwakarma.All laboratory equipment and computers were worshipped, symbolizing gratitude towards the tools of learning and innovation.
Faculty members, staff, and students participated wholeheartedly in the ceremony.Prasadam was distributed to all after the rituals.
The event reflected harmony, cultural values, and collective joy within the department.The celebration concluded with smiles, sweets, and a renewed spirit of togetherness.
