🌊 Making a Difference for Our Coast! 🌱

Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), through its Centre for Environmental Studies (CES), organised a Beach Cleaning Drive at Tannirbhavi Beach, Mangaluru, on September 20, 2026, to mark International Coastal Cleanup Day.

Around 90 students and staff from various Yenepoya institutions came together to collect plastic waste and litter while spreading awareness about marine pollution, responsible waste management, waste segregation, and the protection of coastal ecosystems.

The initiative highlighted the power of collective action in keeping our beaches clean and protecting marine life. 💙🌍
