, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) is organizing the "Monsoon Theatre Festival – 2026" from 17th to 19th July 2026. The three-day festival will feature children's theatre, dance theatre, a musical theatre production, and contemporary drama.
On 17th July, the children's play will be presented by the participants of the Ranginata Theatre Camp of Arehole Pratishthana, followed by the dance theatre production by Nandagokula Kalavidaru.
On 18th July, the musical theatre production , conceived by Dr. Ravindra Gururaj Katoti and directed by Vidwan Korgi Shankaranarayana Upadhyaya, will be staged. The production features renowned Hindustani vocalist , who will both sing and perform in the play.
On 19th July, Punah Theatre, Manipal will present the contemporary play ", written by Usha Kattemane and directed by Abhinav Grover.

All performances will be held at the , St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru, beginning at 6:30 p.m. each day. for all performances.

The festival is being organized in collaboration with , , Mangaluru, the Department of Kannada, and the Centre for Language and Cultural Studies.
The Centre for Theatre Studies has invited theatre enthusiasts, students, and members of the public to attend the festival in large numbers.

ಸಂತ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ #ಮಾನ್ಸೂನ್_ರಂಗೋತ್ಸವ_2026

ಸಂತ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ (ಪರಿಗಣಿತ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ)ದ #ರಂಗ_ಅಧ್ಯಯನ_ಕೇಂದ್ರವು ಜುಲೈ 17ರಿಂದ 19ರವರೆಗೆ "ಮಾನ್ಸೂನ್ ರಂಗೋತ್ಸವ – 2026" ಅನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದೆ. ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳ ಈ ರಂಗೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ನಾಟಕ, ನೃತ್ಯ ರೂಪಕ, ಸಂಗೀತ ನಾಟಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಕಾಲೀನ ನಾಟಕಗಳು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿವೆ.

ಜುಲೈ 17ರಂದು ಅರೆಹೊಳೆ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನದ ರಂಗಿನಾಟ ಶಿಬಿರಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ನಾಟಕ #ಮಾನವಪುರ ಹಾಗೂ ನಂದಗೋಕುಲ ಕಲಾವಿದರಿಂದ ನೃತ್ಯ ರೂಪಕ #ಬಾರ್ಕೂರಿನ_ಹಡ್ಗ್ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿದೆ.
ಜುಲೈ 18ರಂದು ಡಾ. ರವೀಂದ್ರ ಗುರುರಾಜ ಕಾಟೋಟಿ ಅವರ ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆಯ #ರಾಗಸಂಧಾನ ಸಂಗೀತ ನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವಾಗಲಿದ್ದು, ವಿದ್ವಾನ್ ಕೊರ್ಗಿ ಶಂಕರನಾರಾಯಣ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯ ಅವರ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನವಿದೆ. ಈ ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಹಿಂದೂಸ್ತಾನಿ ಗಾಯಕರಾದ #ಶ್ರೀ_ಸಿಧಾರ್ಥ_ಬೆಳ್ಮಣ್ಣು ಇವರು ಹಾಡಿ ನಟಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಜುಲೈ 19ರಂದು ಪುನಃ ಥಿಯೇಟರ್, ಮಣಿಪಾಲ ತಂಡವು ಉಷಾ ಕಟ್ಟೆಮನೆ ಅವರ ರಚನೆಯ #ಅಂಗಾರ ನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಅಭಿನವ್ ಗ್ರೋವರ್ ಅವರ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಲಿದೆ.

ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಿಟೋರಿಯಂ, ಸಂತ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ (ಪರಿಗಣಿತ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ), ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಇಲ್ಲಿ #ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ_ಸಂಜೆ_6_30 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿದ್ದು, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗಳಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಇರಲಿದೆ.

ಈ ರಂಗೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು #ಅರೆಹೊಳೆ_ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನ, #ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವ (ರಿ.) ಮಂಗಳೂರು, #ಕನ್ನಡ_ವಿಭಾಗ ಹಾಗೂ #ಭಾಷೆ_ಮತ್ತು_ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ_ಅಧ್ಯಯನ_ನಿಕೇತನ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ರಂಗಾಸಕ್ತರು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಂತೆ ರಂಗ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಕೇಂದ್ರವು ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋರಿದೆ.
