The effective use of modern technology is the need of the hour. The automobile industry is gradually shifting towards battery-powered vehicles, and many students today are pursuing studies and research in this field. CTDS is also developing new initiatives in this area.

E Roots, located at KINFRA, Kozhikode, is one of the leading academies in this field. A merit certificate awarding ceremony was held for students who successfully completed their studies there. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Binoy, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of CTDS, and presided over by Mr. Hameed, Marketing & Sales Head.

Mr. Abdul Kareem Chalil, Vehicle Inspector, Malappuram District RTO Enforcement, conducted a session on traffic rules. Mr. Ranju (Faculty Member), Mr. Praveen (Training Head), and Mr. Abubacker (CEO, E Roots Technologies) also addressed the gathering.

Many students have secured employment opportunities abroad. Congratulations to the leaders, trainers, and faculty members of E Roots Academy for their dedicated efforts.

Representing CTDS, we participated in the Capacity Building Workshop conducted by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship held in Chennai. Discussions were held with the Chief Minister of Puducherry, Shri N. Rangaswamy, regarding matters related to skill projects. Various topics were also discussed with the Chairman of TNSDC and the NSDC Coordinators. Representing CTDS, CEO Mrs. Liji E.K and Mr. Linoy E.K also participated.

CTDS Centre of Excellence is the registered sector for conducting CTDS’s own courses. It is an idea that emerged from over a decade of experience. Through the CTDS Centre of Excellence, various programs are being implemented in their entirety with the aim of providing learners with 100% success. At present, the CTDS Centre of Excellence has started operations in the districts of Kozhikode, Malappuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur, and Alappuzha.

In Thrissur district, the Centre of Excellence has been launched at Atlanda, Ayyanthole. The inauguration of CTDS’s Skill Track Academy, under the leadership of Chartered Accountants, was carried out by Mr. Sanjo, Chairman of the Thrissur Chapter of Chartered Accountants. Chartered Accountant Mr. Madhu, renowned Logistics & Supply Chain Management trainer Mr. Sharath, and eminent Chartered Accountant Mr. Jayan have spearheaded this initiative.

It has been decided to conduct an Accounting program with internships under Chartered Accountants, along with a Logistics & Supply Chain Management program that includes industrial training.

The grand inaugural ceremony held at Ayyanthole, Thrissur, was graced by Chartered Accountants from the Thrissur Chapter, including Chairman Mr. Sanjo, distinguished Chartered Accountants P.K Jayan BSc FCA CA , P. Madhusudanan B.Com FCA, C.R. Sarath Menon, Satheesh, and Ajith. Also present were Mr. Rajeev, Head of the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management at CTDS, and CTDS CEO Ms. Liji E.K.

The CTDS Centre of Excellence, Skill Track Academy, will also provide necessary placement support for students. The wholehearted support of all well-wishers of CTDS is earnestly expected.

Onam, the festival cherished by Malayalis across the world, was celebrated with grandeur at CTDS.
The vibrant floral carpet, graceful Thiruvathirakali, and spirited competitions added joy and color to the occasion. All members of the CTDS family came together, setting aside their busy schedules, and actively participated in the festivities. The traditional Onam feast was relished by everyone as we warmly welcomed King Mahabali.

One of the most important sector of CTDS programs is the International Montessori Teacher Training Program. This program is conducted in many centers. Among them, the International Montessori Teacher Training Program is a course that offers numerous job opportunities both in India and abroad. Montessori teachers receive attractive salaries in foreign countries. Many CTDS students are already working as Montessori teachers across various nations.

One of the leading branches that provides the Montessori Teacher Program in the best manner is NHS Academy. For many years, NHS Academy has been functioning excellently. This year’s graduation ceremony for the students was conducted successfully. CTDS CEO Mrs. Liji E.K. attended the function. The program was inaugurated by Kerala’s beloved Kanchanamala. Renowned motivational speaker Dr. Muhammad Ashraf V. also participated. The event, held in the presence of prominent dignitaries, saw the active participation of students and parents. The ceremony was organized in the best possible way. Special congratulations go to Center Director Mrs. Shameena. Heartfelt wishes to both the Academy and Mrs. Shameena for continued success.

Students who completed courses from CTDS study centers have become self-reliant by securing employment. The 2024–25 batch also graduated from Edu Site Academy, a CTDS Centre of Excellence. Most of the students received job placements through internships.

Dr. K. Shiji, Senior Medical Officer and Director of CTDS, attended the convocation ceremony. The event was led by Mr. Hussain Vellanchira, District Secretary of the Red Cross, along with Center Directors Mr. Shajahan and Mr. Naseer. Faculty members Shifana Sherin, Fahmitha, and Aluya also guided the program. Various cultural performances by the students added color to the event.

The relevance of CTDS in the field of employment-oriented education continues to grow.

Aviation and Logistics are among the sectors generating the highest number of job opportunities today. Every day, thousands of employment opportunities are being created in these fields. Across India, 100+ study centers under CTDS (COUNCIL FOR TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT CONTINUING ACADEMIC EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC STUDIES) are actively operating in the aviation and logistics sectors. Many young individuals have secured jobs at various airports and seaports through CTDS training. In Manjeri, located in Malappuram district—where the CTDS administrative Head office is situated—a Centre of Excellence has been launched under the name FlyWay Academy.

The inauguration of FlyWay Academy was conducted by Respected Calicut International Airport Director, Mr. Muneer Madampat. The event was graced by Manjeri Municipal Councillor Mrs. Shareena Jawahar, logistics industry expert Mr. D. Raji Kumar, management expert Mr. Anand.K, and the directors of FlyWay Academy Mr. Nazeer T.K, Mr. Shajahan T.P, and Mrs. Aluya K. A special memento was presented by the Airport Director to Mrs. Liji E.K and Mr. Sharath N.T of Ablefolks Design, the team behind the beautiful interior design of the academy. Special training sessions were conducted for students, led by Mr. Raji Kumar and Mrs. Abina.

The inauguration of CTDS Study centre Flywyzz Aviation Academy, based in Thiruvananthapuram, was performed by the Hon. Minister for Industries, Mr. P. Rajeev, on 22-05-2025. Renowned singer Mr. G. Venugopal and Mr. Surya Krishnamurthy were also present. Mr. Sudarshan handed over the CTDS ATP certificate. Former Minister Mr. Kadakampally Surendran, MLA, and District Collector Mrs. Divya S Iyer, IAS, also participated. We wish the academy all success.

All CTDS centers uphold exemplary standards across all levels. Mercy College, a distinguished institution with a strong presence throughout Kerala, continues to set benchmarks in educational excellence. Under the leadership of Dr. Rema Balan, all centers operate with a shared vision of quality and commitment.

A new Mercy College center was recently inaugurated by the Honorable MLA of Calicut, Mr. Thottathil Raveendran, former Mayor and a longstanding well-wisher of CTDS. The event was successfully coordinated by Mr. Vinodh and Mr. Shanil, whose efforts were instrumental in its organization.
